In June 2019 we acquired a young male Labrador Retriever puppy from Gorsebrook Labradors. We want to thank Leslie Grant and Sharron Harris for giving us the privilege of raising andtraining this wonderful dog. “Hunter” is a well bred English Labrador Retriever. He is a solid 84 lbs. He loves the show ring but is equally at home in the field retrieving ducks and hunting pheasants. He has an incredible on/off switch and is well mannered in the home. He is always willing to please, but at the end of the day he loves to cuddle up or sleep on the couch. He is a true Momma’s Boy. “Hunter” does not disappoint. He has matured into a beautiful, and well tempered dog. He loves showing in the ring and easily acquired his Grand Champion Bronze title. He is also comfortable in the field and he has a strong hunting desire. Hunters is an English Labrador. This is the type of labrador that we are striving to breed. He does well in the show ring but also has a strong desire to hunt. We believe that a Labrador should be able to compete in both the show ring and also be able to compete in the field to be a fully versatile dog. Hunter is currently standing at Stud.
